I get a take away from this place most Friday nights. The food is delicious and the staff are always very pleasant and welcoming. I have tried many indian restaurants in Yorkshire and this is one of my favourite place by far.

Every month I meet up with 3 girls I used to work with, and we would go to different eating places in and around Barnsley. When we went to the Thaal we were hooked and have been going there ever since That was 3 years ago. The food is to die for and the Service well what can you say, the guys are great, they go out of their way to make every time we go a good one. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else now. Roll on September I think I might have the Veal its delicious.
I've been to Thaal several times and each time have received a warm welcome and a delicious meal. All the food we've had has been fabulous and the restaurant itself is really nicely decorated. It's by far the nicest restaurant we've been to in the area and I wish them every success.
This place is really good and i go there every time I visit the in-laws or are in the area for business. The other reviewers have said most of what I could write again so all I'll say is go there and enjoy the surroundings and the food. As a business traveler I eat all over the country and this is one of my favorite Indian restaurants. I've had several really tasty curries here. I cannot fault their service and their menu often has me spoilt for choice. I'd totally reccomend this place to anyone visiting the area.
Recently converted pub, with a modern stylish interior. Food is exceptional, well presented and service is amazingly with a smile. Not too expensive, and the quality dos'nt suffer for it. They say the best reviews come from customers who are willing to pass on there new discovery to friends, and will be happy to visit again and again. Guess where we are going tonight, with friends - enough said. Go there, enjoy.
